Nemesis x Girls Who Code: Breaking Barriers in STEM

This past weekend, Nemesis partnered with the Girls Who Code club at Robbinsville High School to host a career panel that promoted women in STEM. This event, organized by dedicated Nemesis and GWC exec members, aimed to inspire and empower young women interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The panel featured five accomplished speakers who spoke about their career trajectory, what they are doing in STEM and innovation, and informed their audience on how to navigate STEM fields as a woman. One of these speakers happened to be a Nemesis mentor, who spoke on her background in FIRST and how it became an outlet for her experience in STEM.

The event was attended by Nemesis members, GWC members, and girls in the community, who asked numerous questions and engaged in facilitated conversations throughout the evening. The event fostered an environment of learning, mentorship, and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of representation and inclusivity in STEM-related fields. Overall, thanks to their hard work and dedication, the Nemesis x Girls Who Code event turned out to be a great success!
