Hello, my name is Nick Anderson and I am currently a senior at Robbinsville High School. As the Marketing Director of Nemesis 2590, I work alongside the team’s mentors and other executive members to ensure that everything runs smoothly, as well as writing articles, corresponding with the outside community and our team’s sponsors, giving presentations on behalf of Nemesis, and acting as one of the team’s editors. Outside of FIRST, I work as an instructor at Weber’s Martial Arts, run varsity cross country and track, and shoot for CRRC’s Junior Rifle Team. I am also heavily involved in Robbinsville Model UN and several service-oriented clubs at RHS.
I like to think of myself as an opportunist, and by my fourth year of high school I’ve tried a multitude of different activities and clubs, yet I often feel as though I’ve only scratched the surface of what’s out there. If my experience has taught me anything, its that FIRST Robotics is truly unmatched in its ability to provide students with that real-world challenge and exposure that so many of us seek. This team has become a huge part of my life, and I know full well that when it comes time to enter the professional world, the skills I have learned here will be invaluable. I love what we do on this team, and I am grateful for the irreplaceable opportunity that Nemesis offers.
In the future, I intend to pursue a four-year bachelor’s degree and go on to work in homeland security and international relations.
