Hello, my name is John Miranda and I'm part of the Robbinsville FIRST Robotics Team. One of the main reasons I joined robotics was to learn about software and experience the process of programming a robot. In my third year on the robotics team my role is to help program the robot for competitions and absorb as much information as possible so that I can lead next year. This year I am in AP computer science, and while the robot itself is not coded in java, the logic taught in this class will help my thought process when programming the robot. Aside from robotics, I also participate in both marching band and jazz band. Music is something I devote a good portion of my free time to; I play both the piano and the trumpet. One of my favorite hobbies would be playing Melee. Some of my friends in college host weekly tournaments and I have fun competing with them. Robotics is a great place to have fun and learn; I enjoy every minute of it and hope to have a great season on the team.
